Recently, Microsoft has updated the system requirements for Microsoft Dynamics GP. The update is in two areas.
One is that Microsoft SQL Server 2008 has now been approved for both GP version 10.0 and all GP 10.0 Web Applications. Note that version 9.0 of GP is not compatible with Microsooft SQL Server 2008. I understand Microsoft is presently reviewing this incompatibility.
The second area updated is that Microsoft has added a Peer to Peer Customer Profile to the GP version 10.0 System Requirements for Rapid Customers. Note this does not apply to the GP 10.0 Web Applications System Requirements. This includes compatibility for Windows Server 2008 and virtualization using Hyper-V, and SQL Server 2008.
If you are unfamiliar with the benefits of virtualization and Microsoft Hyper-V and want to know more about it have a look at the Microsoft Virtualization site at http://www.microsoft.com/virtualization/default.mspx .
