I was at an economic briefing last Thursday evening where a representative from the State of Colorado Office of Economic Development was speaking. As everyone knows, the national and even the international economy is in recession right now and Colorado is not immune. However, what some people do not know is that Colorado is fairing better than most states and has not had the magnitude of the problem that other states have experienced. That led the speaker to say, “Well if we all have to be in hell, at least Colorado has the coolest seat!”
