Yep! You heard that right. Microsoft is releasing an iPad native app for Dynamics CRM in the 2012 Q2 Service Update.

But wait! There’s more! Microsoft is also releasing native apps for iPhone, Android, Blackberry and Windows Phone 7.5. So no matter what mobile platform you choose, you can take Dynamics CRM with you. So, not only is Microsoft going browser independent (see my last post), but they are also now mobile OS independent. It is so refreshing to see Microsoft acknowledging that there are other browsers and mobile OS’s out there that people might actually prefer to the Microsoft branded ones.

 But while we all might wonder why this was so long coming and wish that it had happened LONG, LONG ago, we can at least take some modicum of comfort from the fact that it is NOW happening! Of course, if the Mayan’s have it right, this might actually BE the end of the world. So, enjoy it while you can!
