When attempting to upgrade the CRM 4.0 Online Email Router to CRM 2011 Email Router, you may recieve the following error during the installation process:
Action Microsoft.Crm.Setup.Common.Analyzer+ CollectAction failed.
The following registry key cannot be opened: SOFTWAREMicrosoftMSCRM Email.
Microsoft Support suggests that you uninstall the CRM 4.0 Email Router and install the CRM 2011 Email Router without attempting to upgrade the configuration. This resolves the installation error and allows the CRM 2011 Email Router to be installed. However, BEFORE you uninstall the CRM 4.0 email router, you should fully document the configuration as you will have to setup the CRM 2011 Email Router from Scratch.
