Industry Solution Templates for Dynamics CRM

The Microsoft Dynamics CRM Q2 2012 Service Update is going to include 4 new industry templates for Dynamics CRM. These templates can be downloaded from the Dynamics CRM Marketplace from Dynamics Labs. Microsoft says that the goal of these is to ‘illustrate Microsoft Dynamics CRM’s suitability for specific industries’ and that they will not support these templates. Makes you wonder if they production ready or just there for demos and vision building… nevertheless, they do look interesting and worth checking out…especially if you happen to be in one of these industries.

• Wealth Management – Manage Product Portfolios and Households
• Life Annuity Insurance Sales – designed for insurnace agents, brokers, claims managers, underwriters and customer service, this template shoudl help with Service Delivery, Marketing Performance and agent productivity.
• Health Plan Sales – “demonstrates how health plans can easily move their marketing and sales processes online, and manage the customer value lifecycle.”
